Itinerary

Day 1Casablanca

Arrive at any time to Casablanca airport, and transfer to your Hotel in the town.

Day 2Casablanca - Fès

Today is the real start of our 8 day Morocco Tour from Casablanca city. Drive to the Roman remains of Volubilis early in the morning across the gently rising hills. Visit the best-preserved Roman ruins in this region of Northern Africa, which are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a guided tour.
Continue on to Fès, one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities, after that. Upon arrival, spend some time alone exploring. Decide to visit a traditional hammam and meet some locals.

Day 3Fès

With the help of a local guide, navigate the famous Fès medina’s maze of streets.
The Fès Medina, a UNESCO monument, is the biggest remaining medieval medina in the world.
View Fès’ renowned leather tannery from above as you stroll through the artisan districts and savor delights from the food carts.
Enjoy free time this afternoon.

Day 4Fès - Merzouga

Take a camel ride into the dunes to see the sunset after traveling south toward the desert. For a night of entertainment beneath the stars, return to your hotel.
Today, get out early for a drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Sahara’s edge.
Set up shop at your hotel near the dunes and take pleasure in a warm welcome and a cup of mint tea. Take a camel ride far into the dunes in the late afternoon to see the sunset. To protect your face from the scorching sun and add some flare to images, learn how to tie a turban.
Enjoy a traditional dinner this evening before congregating close to your hotel around a campfire beneath the stars.Listen to stories about life in this region and, perhaps, some traditional music on the drums.

Day 5Merzouga - Todra Gorge

Get up early and observe the sunrise. Continue across a desert of stones after breakfast to reach the breathtaking Todra Gorge. The gorge is a lush sanctuary of palm trees wedged between enormous stone sides. This peaceful area is perfect for trekking, lounging by the river, or indulging in some of the native Amazigh (also known as Berber) specialties.
Choose to spend the morning taking a 4×4 tour of the nearby settlements while enjoying the dunes’ undulating golden sand. When scheduling your tour, you can pre-book an extra excursion..

Day 6Todra Gorge - Aït Ben Haddou

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site A’t Ben Haddou Kasbah. For an introduction to Moroccan cuisine, choose to take a tagine cooking lesson.
Lunch will be stopped in the bustling town of Ouarzazate as you travel down the “Route of 1000 Kasbahs.” Atlas Film Studios, located in this town, is the location of numerous movies over the years, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
Keep on to the intriguing and lovely A’t Ben Haddou, a superb illustration of a kasbah.

Day 7Aït Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Visit the medina with a guide in Marrakech. If you want to observe a group of musicians and street performers, choose to visit the Djemaa el Fna Square in the evening. Don’t leave without enjoying a feast at one of the well-known food stands.
The Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which connects to Marrakech, provides stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains (2260m).
Arrive in Marrakech before noon so that you have the rest of the day to explore the city.
